WHY I’M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN
“Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” - Ronald Reagan
I’m proud to be an American because this is the most generous country in the world. We help others—not only through our government, but through our people. Americans open their hearts and give from their own pockets—through charities, food programs, and building projects that change lives across the globe.
A Land of Opportunity
What makes America truly special is opportunity. Here, anyone with hard work and determination can build a better life. Even those who arrive without speaking English can find financial freedom and dignity through effort and perseverance. That’s something rare in many parts of the world, where governments often limit what people can become. In America, your effort matters—you are free to create your own future.
Freedom at the Core
Our freedom is protected by the First Amendment. The right to speak, to worship, to gather, and to enjoy a free press. Our founders built a government that serves the people—not the other way around. George Washington himself didn’t seek power; he accepted it out of duty and love for this nation.
A Foundation of Faith and Wisdom
America’s strength lies in its foundation; built on biblical principles, shaped by Greek and Roman wisdom, and balanced by three branches designed to prevent abuse of power. Our principles are greater than any one person; they reflect something higher, something given by God.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Psalm 33:12
That’s why, generation after generation, Americans have stood, fought, and even died to protect the dream that defi nes us all—the American Dream.
That’s why I’m proud to be an american
